PerhentianXShortEscape

Being a psychology student leads me indirectly to overcome my anxieties&fears. The first move is always satisfying but the hardest. But, in another way, you would never know if you have never tried! As I am reaaaaally not into these kind of deep sea, or boats or everything which is water related thing, I know I should really do something. So I decided to have a short trip to Perhentian Island on my semester break! God, it got me like crazy. AM I DOING THE RIGHT THING SHOULD  I PROBABLY CANCEL THIS TRIP yes I am that pathetic. Bear with me.

So when the day comes, we took a flight to Kota Bahru, hop into a van from the airport to Kuala Besut Jetty, and another half an hour journey on a speedboat to the island. Yes, air, land and water ride all in one day. Well, i thought I am going insane as the boat hops and hops, terrifyingly -- (I could not think about the right words to describe but  and I am not exaggerating lol) I always enjoy getting on speedboat but that was scary. Time balik pun sama teruk *cries*

Nevertheless, Perhentian Island is such a beauty and serene, with my room overlooking the Long Beach itself, it was such a memorable trip. I had a total fun mandi laut pukul 3, sunburn, mengorat Abe tapi Abe dah kahwin, sunburn lagi and... snorkeling! Well! another bucket list, checked! We did the long trip, which include the Corals Garden, Shark point, Turtle point, Lunch at Kampung Nelayan, Lighthouse & Romantic Beach. Not to mention the dramatic scene when the boatman brought me furtherrr away. Agak cedera parah Abe tu aku kerjakan.

But overall, my short escape to Perhentian is a magnificent journey for myself.
